Thank you to all the snow conditions reporters who provide these updates for us.
1/31/17 Greetings from Blue Knob. Currently snowing. The golf course opened up for skiing last week with enough coverage for skiing. Four days prior, folks were hitting golf balls! It's great to have a golf course at this altitude. All it takes is a few inches and presto - instant xc skiing. The trails out on Spruce Knob now have plenty of coverage. The Nordic Center is now open. Rentals and lessons and tickets are available. Call 814-239- 1023. Good things are happening up here. A snowmoble, custom built roller and Tid-Tech groomer are now available for grooming. Plenty of very affordable ski in - ski out lodging plus excellent downhill skiing can be had on the highest skiable mountain in Pa. All of this ajoins Blue Knob State Park, opening up tons of "backcountry" terrain!
Crystal Lake Ski Center
3/17/17: We are OPEN for another day of cross country skiing! Our groomer has made several trails very skiable with using the snowmobile, even though they are not officially groomed. Skiers can expect good trails to ski with classic skis and will likely be pleased with the conditions. Thanks to daylight savings, we are open until 6pm! Please check in at our Office upon arrival.
28 degrees, 1" new snow over a good base from past weeks snow. Still good 8" in woods. No need too groom today, tracks still ok from grooming done Thursday 1" fresh snow. Most of the trails good conditions, some rocks showing through on some the rockier trails. Trails were soft sat from rain showers but firmed up. Looking at forecast may be last day for weekend sking.

Laurel Ridge XC Ski Area
We received an inch overnight on our 5" base. We still have good coverage with wet spring like conditions for today. As the day progresses the temps will fall and the forecast shows snow with 1-3" over night. We are open today and Sunday 9-5pm. We are holding a free lesson Sunday at 11am. Paccsa members show your membership card and receive a $5 gift card to Lucky Dog Cafe in Confluence.
North Woods and Roaring Run
Conditions continue to be excellent at the Northwoods! All trails set with a nice track and good base. Few rocks and usual icy spots at drainage areas. Get out there and ski while the snow is still around.
Oil Creek State Park
John went to Oil Creek early this morning with intentions to groom but sadly found only 3-4 inches of snow. Very marginal conditions for rock skis. We will let you know if the status changes. In the meantime, if you want to ski, head south or east! sorry!

Last day of spring skiing on March 24th. We had a warm rainy winter with just over 120" snow, 66 skiable days, and less than half of our normal skier traffic of 10,000 per year. Will re open for April blizzards and again next Thanksgiving. Love spring, summer, and fall until our favourite season comes back.
