We're planning a trail clear at Laurel Ridge for Saturday 18 October 2025, 10am-1pm. We will chat with ski friends as we walk the trails and toss sticks into the woods, and then return to the buildings for lunch. We'll be trimming overhanging vegetation and removing debris from the ditches alongside the ski trails (and maybe the drains).
Things to bring: tools (loppers, shovel, small handsaw), gloves, bright orange hat and/or clothing, drink, lunch.
Where to meet: inside the warming hut (NOT the concession building) at Laurel Ridge Cross Country Ski Area (off Route 653) at 9:45am.
Please make sure that you are registered as a conservation volunteer ahead of time and check back here on Oct 17th for any last minute updates - if the weather looks bad, then we'll postpone by one week.
