This is the last LMVG Volunteer Day of 2023. Thanks to everyone who has been able to help out.

On September 23rd we will focus on staining the Laurel Mountain Warming Hut, and splitting firewood which is used in both of our warming huts.

We will meet at 9:30AM, at the Warming Hut on Laurel Summit Road. From Route 30 take Laurel Summit Road south about 2.5 miles, and the Warming Hut will be on your left.

There will have coffee, snacks, water, Gatorade, etc. – please respond to Ed Callahan (ecallahan@pa.gov) if you think you will make it, to help him plan the food and supplies.  

It’s always a good idea to bring work gloves, hat, eye protection and ear protection.
