Please join PACCSA and the Laurel Mountain Volunteer Group on Saturday, September 30 from 10AM to 3PM for National Public Land’s Day and our final work day of the season. Please meet at the Laurel Mountain Warming Hut, located roughly 2.5 miles from Route 30, off of Laurel Summit Road. 

After the work day, please join forest staff and fellow volunteers for a FREE and delicious cookout at the Laurel Mountain Warming Hut!

Projects for the work day will include reblazing and brushing back trails, removal of fallen trees, cutting and stacking firewood, and much, much more! Please be sure to bring along work gloves, protective eye wear, ear plugs, and plenty of water. We will work rain or shine (or snow), so please dress weather accordingly. Light refreshments will be provided in the morning.
